hey momma... I know that you like emails better, I'm not sure why hahah because we get to talk face to face but because i love you I'll indulge you hahaha.

I'm not sure what else you want to here so I will just give you a rundown of my whole week.

Tuesday: Tuesday was the day of sick. it was a rough day... I threw up 6 times in 5 hours. it was a hard day...but just Tuesday. and then on Tuesday night it claimed elder Wihongi. it was rough for him too.

Wednesday: we just stayed in and rest to make sure we were all good.

Thursday: we were back at work. and I'm gonna be honest right now I forgot my planner at home and I cant remember all we did this week. but was a good week none the less.

as I am coming up on transfers and my time here in Agoo is coming to an end. I reflect and I just wanna share how i feel.  I have...never ever loved a people more than I love the people in this ward...and if I am being honest, I have put my blood, lots of tears, and lots and lots and lots of sweat here. and I really really hope, I have done all the things that the Lord has had for me to do here. i certainly have grown more in the last 6 months than i have my whole life...the biggest thing  I have learned is about the Atonement...there is a video by Jeffery R Holland that I love that pretty well sums up my feelings. I'll send it later,  but I just know that we are all loved so so much, and it's our job to share to others.

This week was as solid as ever with not to much to report on! Our focus this week was on trying to progress Queenie towards baptism. And its pretty amazing to see the effect of keeping the commandments take shape in people's lives and we are so excited for this up coming week for her. One of the hardest things that she is working on is coming to church and she is always very quiet during lessons.  But we are going to keep working with them.

With our other people we are just trying to get them to church, that is really our next step

We have another family of four that is a part member, and they are so solid... they made it a goal to come to church every Sunday this month and they haven't missed one yet. The hard part is that the only time we are able to teach them is after church, and also the husband has a really tough coffee problem. We are looking for alternatives for him but he is very lactose intolerant so all of the supplements that he could use make him very sick.  we will keep searching for options.

Ever since zone conference we have been focusing on really not focusing to much on people that are not interested and to really work smarter and try and refine our teaching pool. In doing so we have met so many cool people that are ready to listen...
 
As I see the progress in this area that I have come to love so much, it makes me sad that my time here, will eventually come to an end. I love the people here so much, and I hope I will be able to accomplish all the Lord wants me to do.

This week was an amazing week.. zone conference was such a good experience, and I don't know what else to say than to say, I received so many answers to my questions that I've had for a while!

We went through and reaffirmed our purpose with all of our teaching pool and we were very bold, with why we were there...it was amazing because we were able to really tell who was interested and who wasn't super interested. and it made it easier to see who we should maybe visit less

We also were bold and extended an invitation to be baptized (IBD) to Queenie Ysit!!! and she excepted to be baptized on Feb 15th.  She seemed very excited to actually become a member... I guess she has been saying to everyone at church that she wanted to but she was just shy...so we are going to continue to help her progress!!! we are so excited for what this opens up for her family to really focus on progressing them all towards baptism.

Also this week we got to teach the Quintos family for the second time...and its amazing!! They are a part member family of 5! The mother is the only member but they are all very determined to come to church every week. Even though they haven't been since the days of Elder Villiapas and they are also all determined to progress towards baptism...

All the progress in this area is so amazing... and I'm so so excited to see it...but also its kind of bitter sweet. because there is a chance I might not be here to witness it all, but what ever happens is going to be the will of the Lord and I can't wait to see everyone I have come to love progress...

Anyways life in the mission is all good!! also I love my kabahay!! 2 kiwi's make for a really good time always and it's just such a joy to be a missionary.

Baptism of Arbie Sarines

This week was definitely one of the best weeks of the mission so far... so many amazing miracles are happening and I am so so happy to be a part of it.

First miracle this week : the baptism of Arbie Sarines, he had to talk to his girlfriend but he was so so so excited when she said yes, he said he felt like a light start in his heart and knew that this was the perfect time to do it even though he has to go back to Saudi Arabia.  This is just a huge testimony builder that the Lord has His own timing and that there really really are people prepared and waiting. and it was not coincidence that I happened to be on exchanges with the zone leaders. such a testimony builder. He said after that he felt whole for the first time in his life. it was such a special special experience.

That was probably the high moment of my mission so far. The Lord answers prayers. the council from our leaders is true. Working through part members is blessing us with people to teach... that's about it for this week!!! me and Elder Wihongi and I are having a ball...he is so funny and is teaching me all the rules of rugby, it's pretty hype. anyways I love you all and let me know if you have any questions!!!! 

The work is so amazing every moment is a blessing. We just have to see it

This week was such an amazing week!!! I feel like I am seeing the area with like a new set of eyes, there is so so so much potential and I am so so excited for the opportunity we have been blessed with to serve in this amazing area.

I have learned so so much from Elder Wihongi and I am excited to keep learning...my eyes have been opened to so many of my weaknesses but also I am starting to see some of my personal progress so that's very exciting

as far as the area...Elder Wihongi and I have an amazing teaching pool that needs to be progressed and there is so much work to be done!!! which is such an amazing thing to be a part off. I just hope Elder Wihongi and I can keep up.

one of the highs of this week!

Elder Wihongi and I got punted by our back up and our appointment,  so we were just biking and we rode past a guy we taught once and never were able to teach again. I felt strongly that I should go try. so we did and low and behold he was there and was willing to listen. I remembered that last time he had questions about the plan of salvation... so that's what we shared with him.. and he was soooo so into it!!   he had so so many questions.. it was awesome and it was one of the strongest times I have felt the spirit testify through me. It went so good that  we are going to visit him again on Saturday. I can't wait!

we have so much work to do. and it's gonna be such a good week. I just feel so full of hope.   President, it is like you said no matter how times we get punted,  if we are obedient and have hope, then it's all gonna work out..

This was a crazy good week!! Nothing really eventful this week but as it was Elder Dacayanan's last week in Agoo so we just worked and worked and were very satisfied and happy.  
Last night we got to give the youngest Robles family member a blessing...and the father, who really was been distant the whole time that we have been there, was crying and the spirit was so so strong. I really am not sure what to teach next because they still haven't been able to get to church. but they are very very committed to reading the Book of Mormon and I just have this feeling every time I visit them. I just love them so much.

And as far as Mark, we have been teaching him for a long time and we have pretty much taught him all we can...  he still seems interested but he also is just struggling, we took one of the Sisters in the ward to him because they were friends, and we kind of just had a q and a. We ended up teaching a run down of all five lessons hahaha it was a long lesson  but it really kind of helped clarify all the questions he had. and I'm really hopeful that he has made big steps this week.

and so my time with Elder Dacayanan has come to an end... I love that guy so much and I know he is going to on to great things and I will always cherish our time together.

And now on to the next big chapter of my mission with Elder Wihongi; he is from New Zealand and is a straight homie.  I am so so excited to have a new person to learn from...the man is a hoot and I know we are going to do great things together...

I'm looking forward to this next week of work with hope in my heart and a name that is ready for me.   Elder Dacayanan  and I have been teaching and planting for 3 transfers and I'm hopeful that this one is going to be a harvest.

Not much to report on this week!! just a grind if I'm being honest but it's the best grind I've ever had the privilege to do ...I know it seems like a say that a lot but I just feel like every week  I just get more and more grateful for the work haha...

something actually amazing happened this week!! on Sunday, sacrament meeting was the fullest I have ever seen it in my time here!! and I realized that through finding new people through less active families has not only been giving us more and more people teach, but also there families are also starting to come back to church... on Sunday we had a family who we have not actually been able to teach yet because they are madly busy, but Elder Dacayanan and I  have just been stopping by pretty much a few times a week for like 2 transfers and just saying hi and talking for a sec. and on Sunday they finally came to church for the first time in years. and it was so special to see the light kind of reignited in their eyes. and it just made me feel so grateful that I was able to be a part of the Lords work. even if it wasn't a new convert...

that was probably the high point of this week!! I'm looking forward to just another solid week of work...I hope I can help make Elder Dacayanans last week of work in Agoo a memorable one! on that note...it's gonna be sad to see him transfer because he has such a good relationship with the people here. but I am excited to see who my second comp is going to be...this is all assuming he actually is transferring... hahah we thought for sure that he was last time and we were wrong. so it's just exciting to see what this next transfer brings!! and to see what this next week brings.
