suuuuuup guys!!!!! I FEEL bad writing these emails because if im being honest in the mtc you do the same thing every single week so the email is pretty much the same hahahah.

but some things to note of this week! 

we get to go to the temple this week! it has been closed the whole time we have been here so its a privlage that we get to finally go its a blessing fr. also a cool thing. yesterday was a national holiday in the philippines so when that happens people like FLOCK to the temples. its an amazing and beautiful sight to see. we got to go over yesterday and talk with them to practice and there was so many cool stories and the MGA ANAK  ARE SOOOOOOO CUTE. IT WAS SO DOPE . any ways the testimonys are inspiring to see. i cant wait to get into the field!!! only 3 more weeks

Week 2

kumusta alllll!!!!! so im sorry that last weeks email  was kinda whack, so for this week im going to go with more of a journal entry type deal where i give a run down of what i wrote in my journal everyday. so i hope that makes a little more sense....

8/8: this was last p day, all we did on the eighth was talk with everyone and then we had language study at night. but that night i got to give my first healing blessing!! a sister in my district was feeling so crappy and then after class we got permission from president clarke to give a blessing. it was amazing and the spirit was soooo so strong. it was an awesome feeling to feel the power of the preisthood and it really built my testimony of its power. 

8/9: the problem with the mtc is that everyday is like a carbon copy of the one before. except pday. anyways we had a lot of language study today and we made a lot of progress with basic core, basically basic core is a list of 270 words, 55 phrases, and 4 scriptures. that all language training missionaries have 10 days to learn. so we made some head way on that! then after our gym time was kind of epic. an elder in our room is super into beat boxing, so we threw a beatbox battle between him and another elder, it was super hyped and the whole floor was into it but it was after quite time so we had to like snap an just whisper yell. it was kinda epic, but elder broschinsky lost and we were all very disappointed in him hahaha jokelang.

8/10:we finally got to meet out interested person!!!! her name is valerie and it was a super good practice experience. we got to bear our testimonies to her and pray and we are going back on wednesday for a follow up appointment

8/11: sunday was kinda whack, we had a district council that went realy good! but other than that it was a pretty meh day. just made a lot of progress with basic core which we will hopefully test out of tomorrow. 

8/12: Everyone finished basic core!!! t was crazy hard but im so proud of everyone in my district. feels like a weight was lifted off my shoulders.

and if im being honest all theother days were pretty mellow too haahahaha nothing really to note!! just lots of studying hahaha sorry this email is kinda boring

Week 1-- First week in the MTC!!!

KUMUSTA PO KAYO!!!!

WOWOWOWOWOw what a week. the manilla mtc is truly a one of a kind place! I arrived safely last thursday at like 4 am and then spent the whole rest of thursday in a hotel in quezon city. we couldnt watch tv or anything like that so basically me and another elder just made a whole day of getting to know you games, we ended cramming like 25 people in our tiny room and just had a ball. i was super nervous about what the guys were gonna be like but then i realized that all of the people were just like me so when you realize that then it pretty much makes it super eASy to get along with people. we all were super tired on thursday so we were in bed at like 6 pm hahaha. then we woke up and finally went to the mtc. and if im being honest the first four days of the mtc were kind awful. With the combined homesickness jet lag and the fact that all we did for 12 hours  everyday was sit and listen to safety orientations. but besides those, everyday in the mtc is just so full of the spirit and its amazing. anyways after we were orientated we got put into districts. they called me to be the district leader and i LOOOOve my district. there are 12 people including me and my kasama. also side note i love my companion elder tueller. he is from south jordan and is a homie. he is played basketball and is super good. we are going to the same mission too so i hope we can be comps in the field. It has rained every single day since we have been here and its like insane, when it rains it big time rains. and its kinda amazing! Anyways sorry this email is super all over the place. but basically all we have been doing is language study and reading the scriptures. And you know me i kinda get a little stir crazy so that has been kinda hard hahaha. anyways just got flamed by president clark taking to long. PLease email and i will try to send some pics later today i dont have my camera. I love you all so much and am sending myprayers your way.
